Description[]
Miriam Brum is the wife of Eckart Brum, and lived a perfectly happy life. What she does not know however is her predestined death in 1980.

Death[]
In Chapter 6, unless Eike persists Miriam will be killed from a gunshot wound - the killer is never revealed.
Saved from Death[]
In Chapter 6, if Eike persists in helping Miriam, she can survive. This requires the player to converse with her and witness her death twice. When returning to the present Homunculus will inform Eike about the futility of trying again and again to change the past. Once in the present you have the option to defy this and return once again. After trying to guide Miriam to a safe route you can chase her around Lebensbaum. This leads to the location where the shot is fired and Eike pushes Miriam from harms way - Sadly the baby is nowhere to be seen!
An Unknown Fate[]
In an alternate timeline created by Eike reliving every possible version of history, he was able to remember his true identity and prevented Homunculus from being able to alter the timeline, thus erasing Eike from existence. This had a domino effect on everyone Eike had ever met and Homunculus had affected, meaning Miriam's fate in the new timeline is unknown.

Trivia[]
- It's unclear what caused Miriam's death in the original timeline. Eckart describes her death as her being killed and if Eike succeeds in saving her it results in a nearby wall being damaged. Judging from what the wall looks like afterwards, as well as the noises heard if you don't save her, it is possible someone tried to shoot her. However why someone would try to do that is unknown.
