The Mean Dog is a character in Shadow of Memories.
Description[]
The Mean Dog acts mainly as a barrier in the early stages of the game and growls at Eike to prevent him exploring out of the bounds eras in Lebensbaum.

Prologue & Chapter 1[]

The Mean Dog appears at multiple locations in Lebensbaum. Either side of the City Hall Building and another to the east of the building too. Another one is positioned south of Cafe Sonne to the west of Lebensbaum.
Chapter 5[]
1584[]
The Mean Dog appears in-front of the Wagner House. Eike will need to retrieve then give the Mean Dog some Scrap Meat from the Butchers before it decides to walk away.
Chapter 6[]
1980[]
In the PSP version, the Mean Dog will appear resting on the floor inside Marie's Bakery. The Mean Dog is a lighter shade of brown and doesn't growl this time.
