Brum Estate is a location in Shadow of Memories.
Description[]
The Brum Estate is a large house south of Lebensbaum featuring a watchtower to the side of the building. Throughout the ages the property has seen many changes from family home to Museum and even being changed to a Library through Eike's intervention. The property has been kept in the family name of the Brum's throughout the years, most notably owned by Alfred Brum in the 1902 Era and Eckart Brum in the present.
Depending on Eike's actions the Brum Estate will either be a Museum of a Library. When A Museum, it features many paintings from the artist Karl Franssen focusing no key moments and figures of history like the alchemist Wolfgang Wagner. If Eike suggests to Alfred Brum to convert the estate into a Library, the rooms will be full of books.
If Eike brings Sibylla Brum a Kitten, the Brum Estate will feature kittens roaming around the rooms in the present.
Chapter 2[]
1580[]
After visiting the Wagner Household, Eike will find a Tree Planter in the Marktplatz who is planting the big tree the assassin his hiding behind in the present. Eike visits the Lord Manor House, using a Ladder to retrieve the Medallion to convince the Tree Planter to make a Statue or a Floral Display.
Chapter 3[]
2001[]
Eckart Brum calls Eike on his Cell Phone and asks him if he intends on visiting the Museum, as he was thinking of closing up or the day. Upon visiting, Eike asks Eckart if he knows anything on Alchemy, he mentions brief knowledge of an infamous alchemist Wolfgang Wagner and gives Eike an Old Book about him called "The Magician of our City".
After meeting with Ekcart, Eike finds the Homunculus waiting for him. After and argument Homunculus sends Eike back to 1979.
1979[]
As Eike arrives in front of the Museum in 1979, A young Oleg Franssen watches Eike appear out of thin air. Then Eckart Brum bursts out of the Museum's front door in celebration. Informing Eike that his daughter has just been born. Eike finds the Digipad now lacks Energy Units form the Digipad to prove his powers to Eike.
2001[]
Upon returning, Eike goes back up to Eckart's office to ask about his daughter. This catches Ekcart off guard causing him to stumble into a nearby vase - Which was the item used to kill Eike at the beginning of the chapter. Eckart recalls of a Madam Killing his wife and taking off with their baby.
After returning downstairs, Homunculus appears once again and Eike thanks him for another chance of life. Homunculus mentions about his lack of strength, recalling how he carried a baby the other day and was worn out.He also advises Eike to look out for the Philosopher's Stone as he is fated to acquire it.
Chapter 4[]
1902[]
Upon arriving in the 1902 Era, Eike meets Alfred Brum at the from of the Brum Estate. Eike asks if it is Museum but Alfred informs him it is his house. He's been indecisive on what to do with the house as it is too big for him and his family - especially after his wife past away recently. Alfred appreciates Eike's suggestion and has a collection of Karl Franssen paintings and decides to turn it int a museum for the public - Following this encounter Alfred invites Eike in for tea.
Eike meet this daughter Sibylla Brum as Alfred informs her that he intends to turn the house into a Museum. To celebrate the moment, they decide to take a photograph and call Mr. Franssen. While waiting for him to arrive, Eike talks to Sibylla, she notices that his jacket's got a thread undone and offers to fix it for him. He is cold without it and puts on the Street Performers costume. He asks if she has a frying pan, but she informs him that when her mother passed, all the cooking utensils were thrown out, but she suggests that Bars and Restaurants might have one. Eike examines the Egg Ornament and Sibylla tells Eike he can have it as she no longer needs it to convince her father not to sell the house. With this Egg Ornament, Eike writes a message in it advising the receiver to get a thick iron plate. He then travels back in time to where he encounters his past-self in Chapter 1. Upon returning, Eike has a Frying Pan which Sibylla is amazed on how he gotten one so soon.
Chapter 5[]
After dying from food poisoning, Eike is informed by Homunculus about the nature of the food poison and that he can learn of an Antidote at the Library, teasing that it is an Art Museum now.
1902[]
When returning to the 1902 Era, Alfred Brum is standing outside the Brum Estate with Mr. Franssen. He's still indecisive on what to do with the place, he has a lot of books and asks Eike's opinion of him changing the building into a public Library.
2001[]
After encouraging Alfred to turn the Museum into a Library, once back in the present it is indeed a Library! Upon visiting Eike can find a book on the Sea-hare poisoning which informs him of the antidote but says it is no longer available in this time.
Chapter 7[]
2001[]
After receiving a phone call from Eckart Brum asking EIke to return the Old Book, Eike finds himself locked in the Watchtower. After reaching to top of the watchtower Eike is pushed off and falls to his death.
2001 - The Night Before[]
Eike returns to the 7th of April 2001 and after realizing the door to the tower is locked, he wonders if there is a way to get in without Eckart knowing.
1902[]
Eike decides to transport to 1902 and steal the key from the spare set of Tower Keys from the Brum's Estate (while his earlier self is being photographed Sibylla Brum manages to see him doing this). To avoid running into your past self Eike has to explore the Brum House a moment - visiting the bathroom seems to cancel out the conflict... I'm not sure why! Returning outside Eike can visit the Watchtower next to the Brum's Estate. In this time period he finds a Rope at the top of the stairs.
2001 - The Night Before[]
Returning to the the night before, now using the Tower Key Eike can enter the Watchtower. Once at the top of the tower, Eike ties the Rope to the railing at the top of tower. On his way down he hears Eckart talking on the phone to someone about his daughter and Eike coming over to visit him the next day.
2001[]
Back in the present, Eike is pushed off the edge once again but holds onto the Rope preventing his death but drops the Comb. After climbing back up the rope Eike confronts Eckart in his office. He reveals that he was told by an unknown person he would be given the location of his daughter if he killed Eike. Eckart reveals he has seen the Comb before and how it reminded him of his daughter and gave him hope - Eike gives it to him as a gift. Eckart sincerely apologies to Eike and says he will assist Eike in catching the assassin any way he can. Outside Eckart's office Eike sees a painting of Dana holding the Philosophers Stone.
Chapter 8[]

2001[]
At the beginning of Chapter 8, Eike will recognise a paiting with a lady holding the Philosopher's Stone who has an uncanny resemblance to Dana.
If the player is on route to getting Ending E and manages to convince Dana to return to the present, the painting in the gallery will chance to an ancestor of the Brum family holding a cat.
